Home security camera shows Iowa house explosion
An explosion at a house in Washington, Iowa caused visible damage to both the home and neighboring homes early Monday morning.
KCRG reports officials said they received multiple calls about the explosion just after 4 a.m.
Washington police reported the explosion happened at a home in the 1100 block of East Washington Street. That’s near the United Presbyterian Home and Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire caused by the explosion, and all residents at the home were evacuated.
Police reported at least two non-life-threatening injuries caused by the fire.
The explosion also broke some windows of nearby homes. No other details were released.
