Iowa State Patrol responds to dozens of crashes during Sunday snow
The Iowa State Patrol report 51 crashes statewide Sunday during the snow that swept through the state, leaving behind several inches of snow. Over a 12-hour period beginning at 6:00am, the Iowa State Patrol says eight of the 51 crashes led to injuries. Beyond the crash reports, troopers were called to assist a total of 178 motorists.
