Kernels to finish season with 100% seating capacity
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – According to team officials, the Cedar Rapids Kernels fans will be able to fill the stands at Veterans Memorial Stadium for the rest of the 2021 season.
The team announced the news in a social media post on Monday, noting that ticket sales will be available up to 100% capacity. Seating had been restricted to help minimize COVID-19 spread, including limited capacity and social distance requirements.
Officials stated that people who have been completely vaccinated do not have to wear masks or maintain a social distance, but those who have not been vaccinated will be required to continue wearing masks.
This season, the Kernels have 42 home games remaining.
