Man arrested after robbing a Cedar Rapids woman
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – A man has been arrested in Illinois after allegedly robbing a woman he met on Facebook.
Christopher Bullins and the 41-year-old woman met on Facebook couple of weeks ago.
Bullins pointed a handgun at the woman demanding money at her home in Cedar Rapids around 2:30 a.m. According to the police, he handcuffed her at the basement, stole several items from the house and her 2018 Buick Encore.
The woman freed herself and asked for help. EMS transported her to a local hospital for treatment on injuries received while being restrained.
Bullins was arrested in Galesburg, Illinois on Wednesday, and now faces charges including theft, robbery, assault, false imprisonment and obstruction of emergency communications.
