Market After Dark to be held on September 25
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – After organizers delayed making a decision due to the pandemic, the popular event will finally take place in Cedar Rapids this fall.
On Saturday, September 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., the Market After Dark will be held. The event will include a layout similar to traditional Downtown Farmer’s Markets, but with a focus on prepared food, the ability to bring open alcohol containers into the market area, and entertainment.
The event will “follow necessary health and safety guidelines” to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, according to the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, and plans for the market may change depending on the public health situation.
“Market After Dark is one of our community’s favorite events and we’re so happy to see it return this year. We’ve had many people ask us to bring back this fun night. We look forward to creating a festive and safe atmosphere that everyone can enjoy,” Market After Dark organizer for Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, Ellie Evans stated.
The event will be held for 6th time.
