New poll shows Iowan’s reaction to prescription-free birth control

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – It has been reported that a significant majority of Iowans are in favor of Governor Kim Reynolds’ proposal to make it possible for pharmacies to sell birth control pills without requiring a prescription.

According to a poll conducted by Des Moines Register Mediacom Iowa, this is the case.

About the availability of birth control pills without the need for a prescription, 79 percent of Iowans are in agreement.

On the other hand, 19 percent of Iowans are opposed to it, and 3 percent are unclear about their position.

The law has not yet made its way to Governor Reynolds’ desk, despite the fact that she proposed this 20-19.

A significant legislative deadline was met by her bill during this session, although it has not yet been put to a vote on the floor.
