The Downtown Farmers Market in Cedar Rapids is back this Saturday
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – With almost 200 vendors, the Downtown Farmers Market in Cedar Rapids is back this weekend.
Memorial Day Weekend begins on Saturday, the first day of the market season. Every market is open from 7:30 am till noon.
On September 21, the fall market will be the final market of the season.
In the two decades of the market’s existence, organizers claim that this year will mark the first time the venue has had the same footprint as the previous year.
Between Second Street SE and Fifth Street SE, vendors will be located on Second Avenue SE, Third Avenue SE, and Fourth Avenue SE at the venue.
The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance website will have a list of participating vendors as well as a map indicating their locations, according to the organizers.
The website provides a list of parking locations for cyclists.
May 25, June 1, June 15, July 6, July 20, August 3, August 17, and September 21 are the dates of the market.
On August 24, there will be a Market After Dark. More information will be made available later, according to the organizers.
