COVID-19 cancels 2nd ISU men’s basketball game of the season
AMES, Iowa — The Iowa State’s men’s basketball team’s game against Chicago State has been canceled.
It is the second opponent to cancel a game against the Cyclones this season.
Chicago State does not have enough players available for the game.
“Obviously this is disappointing for our student-athletes to have another game canceled, but we understand the situation Chicago State is in,” Cyclones head coach Steve Prohm said Monday.
“We look forward to returning to Hilton Coliseum to face Baylor on Jan. 2.”
The Cyclones had a game against DePaul scheduled for December 5th get canceled too.
