Erratic driver leads officers on chase through Scott County
SCOTT COUNTY, Iowa — The Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of an erratic driver Thursday morning.
The vehicle was initially stopped by a deputy on I-80.
Two Iowa State Patrol units for the Davenport area arrived to assist.
That’s when the driver took off, leading officers on a pursuit.
The short pursuit ended with the subject crashing into the median cable at mile marker 304 on I-80.
The driver was taken into custody by troopers.
There were two juveniles in the car during the pursuit.
No injuries were reported.
This is an ongoing investigation.
