New updates on Covid-19 dashboard announced
Iowa – Governor Kim Reynolds and Interim Director of the Iowa Department of Public Health, Dr. Kelly Garcia, spoke to the state on Thursday morning on the new updates in the COVID-19 pandemic in Iowa.
IDPH will update the state’s COVID-19 dashboard three times a week, according to Dr. Garcia: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Governor Reynolds says she got vaccinated and would do it again if she could at the news conference.
When asked what will happen if people continue to refuse vaccinations, Reynolds said her office will continue to educate the public about vaccines.
The majority of persons in hospitals, according to Dr. Garcia, are unvaccinated.
