School-record four Cyclones named to the AP All-American teams
More history made for Iowa State as a school record four Cyclones were named to the AP All-American team.
Big 12 offensive player of the year Breece Hall remains on track to become the program’s first consensus All-American since Troy Davis after earning 1st team honors.
Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year Mike Rose was named 2nd-team linebacker after leading the conference in tackles and interceptions.
Rounding out the honors, tight end Charlie Kolar and defensive end JaQuan Bailey were third team selections.
Kolar becomes only the 4th Cyclone in history to pick up AP All-American honors twice and Bailey adds another milestone to his illustrious career as Iowa State’s all time sack and tackles for a loss leader
