Trees planted at Cherry Hill Park on Saturday
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – 25 Burr Oak trees were planted at Cherry Hill Park on Saturday by Boy Scout Troop #42.
This action was part of the Eagle Scout project and was led by Isaac Stadelmann, as a coordinator of the planting.
In the past month this was a third time Boy Scouts provided planting actions. A total of 173 trees were planted till now.
The Cedar Rapids Parks Foundation procured the trees from donations made by organizations and citizens.
Donations can still be made at the Foundation, in order to replace trees in parks.
