New food pantry to open in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – New food pantry will open on June 13 in Cedar Rapids.
After learning that dozens of people struggle with food insecurity in Linn County, Bethany Lutheran Church and HACAP Food Reservoir came up with the idea to form Bethany Lutheran Food Pantry.
“As followers of Jesus, it’s an honor and privilege to share God’s love with our community by helping those who are in need,” Rev. Michael Erickson said.
You can find Bethany Lutheran Food Pantry at 2202 Forest Drive SE. It will be open to public every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
