Man injured after Cedar Rapids shooting
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – A Cedar Rapids man has been hospitalized following a shooting near Harrison Elementary on Thursday night.
The shooting occurred in the 1200 block of 10th Street Northwest around 10 p.m.
Police officers found shell casings upon arrival at the scene.
A man arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wound as officers were investigating.
The injuries appear to be non-life threatening and the man is expected to survive.
The identity of the victim was not released at this moment.
No arrests have been made regarding this incident.
