Fire crews put out a garage fire in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – An early morning garage fire on Cedar Rapids’ southwest side drew firefighters to the location.
Firefighters reported that the fire had completely burned the detached garage, which was situated in the 200 block of 7th Street SW, just after 3 a.m. on Wednesday.
However, even though the fire was quickly put out, it caused significant damage to the garage. Also, there was heat damage to an adjacent garage.
No one was injured in the fire.
Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
