Three dead after a collision in Waterloo involving a vehicle and a semi
Waterloo, Iowa – A collision between a vehicle and a semi on Monday morning resulted in the deaths of three people, according to the Waterloo Police Department.
At about 10 in the morning, police were called to the crossroads of Hammond Avenue and E Shaulis Road, where they located the truck and the car involved in the accident.
On the site, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle as well as two other people who were in the vehicle had died. The police were unable to provide any information on the truck driver.
The crossroad and part of Hammond Ave were closed due to the accident.
At this time, the identities of those who were killed are not being released by the police while relatives are being notified. They are carrying on with the investigation into the collision.
