Despite a 5.2 cent increase, Iowa’s average gas price is still less than the national average
Iowa – There has been a hike of 5.2 cents per gallon in the average price of gasoline in Iowa during the past week.
As of today, prices have reached an average of $3.04 per gram, as reported by GasBuddy’s survey of 2,036 stations in the state of Iowa.
As a result, the price of a gallon of gasoline is now 20.2 cents more than it was a month ago, but it is 14 cents lower than it was a year ago.
There was a difference of $1.32 per gram between the most costly station in Iowa, which was $3.89 per gram, and the cheapest station in Iowa, which was $2.57 per gram, according to the price statistics provided by GasBuddy.
Over the past week, the national average price of gasoline has increased by ten cents per gallon, reaching an average of $3.34 per gram today.
According to data provided by GasBuddy from more than 11 million weekly price reports spanning over 150,000 gas stations throughout the country, the national average has increased by 22 cents per gallon from a month ago and is currently 3.2 cents per gallon lower than it was a year ago.
The price of diesel has decreased by 2.7 cents over the past week, and it is currently priced at $4.03 per gallon across the nation.
