Cedar Rapids, Iowa – 140 of Alliant Energy’s call center workers in Iowa will join InnoSource as part of a new relationship that was announced on Wednesday.
InnoSource is a data and staffing company that specializes in call center operations.
As part of the agreement, the employees will continue to work from home with the same compensation and “comparable benefits,” utilizing Alliant’s technologies for “transparency and quality assurance monitoring.”
According to an Alliant representative, the collaboration will lower expenses while increasing customer happiness and efficiency.
Alliant and InnoSource specifically claim that the change will increase first-call resolutions and average call-responding speed.
A representative for Alliant stated, “This strategy also offers scalability for fluctuating call volumes, guarantees low agent turnover, and sustains roughly 140 jobs in our region, supporting economic opportunities and community connections.”
