BERTRAM, Iowa – One woman is recovering following a single vehicle accident in Bertram.
On Saturday around 6:15 a.m Linn County Deputies, Mt. Vernon Fire, and Area Ambulance responded to a single vehicle accident in the 30 block of Ely Street in Bertram.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 2008 Chevy Tahoe that hade struck two barricades. Authories believe the SUV was heading southbound on Ely Street before crossing the rail road tracks. The driver then dosed off, lost control, and struck two barricade posts.
