Cedar Rapids woman suffers gunshot wounds, officers searching for suspect

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Cedar Rapids woman was injured after a shooting on Tuesday night.
Officers responded around 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the 1100 block of 1st Avenue northwest to a report of shooting with a victim. They found a woman at the scene with a gunshot wound.
The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries by EMT’s.
There is an open investigation regarding this incident and no one has been arrested till now.
