Change in visitor policy at St. Luke’s starting June 28
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – UnityPoint Health St. Luke’s Hospital will change their visitor policy beginning June 28 due to an increase in vaccinations and the decline in new Covid-19 cases.
Kids aged 12-year-old can visit hospital patients, visiting hours are extended from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and up to two visitors per patient will be allowed as well.
St. Luke’s Behavioral Health will likewise change its visiting policy, however, the changes will be dependent on the unit the patient is admitted to.
One support person plus two visitors will be allowed at St. Luke’s Center for Women’s and Children Health with no restriction on visiting hours.
Visitors at the hospital will be required to wear mask and will be screened upon arrival.
