Cyclones move up two spots to #7, Iowa up to #16 in CFP rankings
Iowa State moved up to #7 in the College Football Playoff rankings released on Tuesday.
The Cyclones (8-2 overall, 8-1 in Big 12) moved two spots from last week’s rankings.
Iowa State clinched its first appearance in the Big 12 Championship game, which will be played on December19 at 11 a.m.
The Iowa Hawkeyes moved up as well, three spots to #16.
The Hawkeyes (5-2) close out the regular season Saturday against Wisconsin.
