Every year, Goldfinch hosts a Giving Tree gift drive
Marion, Iowa – Customers of Goldfinch Tap and Eatery have the chance to cheer up underprivileged kids and their families over the course of the next ten days.
As soon as people enter Goldfinch, they may locate the Giving Tree, which is covered in tags with anonymous Christmas lists from underprivileged kids. To obtain the list, donors must interact with a Goldfinch employee. The deadline for the drive is December 14th.
The objective is to assist the approximately 100 individuals who have registered for this year’s Giving Tree.
Naomi Wardell, the front desk manager at Goldfinch, stated, “Being community driven and helping the community that supports us and lets our business grow is one of our core values.”
Every year, Goldfinch employees are delighted to host this unique event.
Ashley Stribling, Goldfinch’s event coordinator, stated, “I think we do a great job of supporting each other and just trying to help everyone out.”
Gifts for the family are also included in such lists; these might be anything from groceries or gas gift cards to household goods.
The staff members also make it personal by involving their families.
“We actually decided this year that instead of giving each other Christmas presents, we’re all going to grab a tag ourselves and help a family instead,” Wardell added.
Children aren’t the only ones who receive the gifts; other people who seek for assistance are as old as 18.
“Knowing that we can contribute to helping those in need makes my heart smile,” Stribling remarked.
They assisted about 100 families last year, and this year they want to reach that number once more.
