Firefighters respond to an apartment fire in Coralville, damage estimated at $100,000

Coralville, Iowa – Fire crews were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. at 308 1st Avenue in Coralville to a report of an apartment fire on Wednesday.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found flames the roof of the building in flames.
The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes, but firefighters stayed on scene around 3 hours.
No injuries were reported.
Although officials believe the fire was an accident, they’ll investigate the case.
The damage is estimated at $100,000.
