The greatest, most decorated player in the history of Iowa basketball saw her jersey retired Sunday afternoon. Megan Gustafson made the trip back to Iowa City from Budapest, Hungary where she’s playing professionally. Gustafson’s name fills Iowa’s record books, but her coaches and teammates praise her kindness, humility and ferocious work ethic even more than her on-court talents. The emotional ceremony followed a dramatic win that extended No. 19 Iowa’s home winning streak to 32 games.
