Iowa State fulfills promise of 2020 season
After a brutal loss in the 2019 Camping World Bowl, Matt Campbell said Iowa State was “really close.” It didn’t look that way in the moment, stumbling to a 2-4 finish after a promising start, eventually finishing with a 7-6 record. But Campbell knows his team best and in 2020 he was proven right. The Cyclones completed undeniably their best season with the Fiesta Bowl win Saturday, making Iowa State history and setting a new path for the future.
