Linn County seeks community feedback on the 2026 fiscal budget
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Linn County is eager to hear your thoughts as it crafts its budget for the 2026 fiscal year.
Linn County will begin holding meetings to plan its budget for the 2026 fiscal year.
Over the next two and a half months, we will meticulously plan the budget, inviting public input during more than 20 meetings.
The county indicates that recent state legislation regarding property value growth (House File 718 and Senate File 2442) may impact the county’s budget for this year.
The upcoming fiscal year is set to commence on July 1, 2025, and will wrap up on June 30, 2026.
Join us for the meeting at 5 P.M. on November 25th, located at the Linn County Public Service Center, 2nd Street Southwest, Cedar Rapids.
