Officials investigate small plane crash in south-central Iowa
Lamoni, Iowa – South-central Iowa officials responded on Thursday morning to a small plane crash west of Lamoni Municipal Airport.
The crash was reported around 8 a.m. It occurred near the south end of the airport’s runway.
Two people were aboard on a single-engine Cirrus SR-22 when it crashed according to FAA. Investigators are at the scene to gather details.
Investigation will be conducted by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
