Parkview Elementary welcoming students for first time
Marion, Iowa – The recently closed Starry Elementary School will be replaced with the brand new Parkview Elementary School, which will open on Friday. Parkview Elementary is located in the Marion Independent School District.
Students from Pre-K through the second grade are going to be educated in the new building. According to Principal Chad Zrudsky, the relocation of the school district’s Starry Elementary School into a new structure has made it possible for the system to extend its range of services.
In his statement, Zrudsky stated, “We care about all of the children, and we are here to support families for whatever they require.”
It is a pleasure for him to be the one to initiate preschool classes at the institution.
“I have been asking questions and trying to make sure that we have everything ready to go, and the staff at the preschool has been more than helpful,” Zrudsky said.
In addition, the library, which is one of his favorite places in Starry, is about to undergo expansion.
According to Zrudsky, “Our library served our children at Starry in a really, really helpful manner.” “Undoubtedly, that has been the most significant upgrade space in the entire build,” the speaker said.
According to Zrudsky, the facility is approximately the same as the one they had before; however, it has additional collaboration spaces and new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Since the beginning of construction on Parkview in April 2023, members of the faculty and staff have been relocating into the new school over the previous few weeks.
Although Zrudsky expressed his regret at having to part ways with Starry, he expressed his enthusiasm for the future of Parkview.
The statement made by Zrudsky was as follows: “I wasn’t there for a really long time, but I was there long enough to make some memories over there and to get attached to the place.” Having the knowledge that we are not simply closing down, but rather relocating to a new location that is both spectacular and gorgeous, as well as a great setting, made it a really remarkable experience.
On the space that was formerly occupied by Thomas Park Field, Parkview Elementary School may be found on Third Avenue.
