St. Luke’s named as one of nation’s Best Regional Hospitals

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – According to U.S. News and World Report, St. Luke’s Hospital is one of the nation’s Best Regional Hospitals.

St. Luke’s takes the 3rd place of best Iowa hospitals in the U.S. News & World Report 2021-22 edition. Only hospitals that excel at treating the most difficult patients are involved in the rankings.

St. Luke’s was rated exceptionally excellent in the following conditions and treatments for adults:

  • Hip and Knee replacement
  • Colon cancer surgery
  • Heart attack
  • Aortic valve surgery
  • Stroke
  • Heart bypass surgery
  • Heart failure
  • Kidney failure

The rankings will appear in print in the U.S. News Best Hospitals guidebook and are currently published at  http://health.usnews.com/best-hospitals.
