The deck fire was put out before it spread to the Cedar Falls house
Cedar Falls, Iowa – Thanks to the efforts of firemen, a property was spared from more extensive fire damage.
On Saturday, October 5, at approximately 11:29 p.m., Cedar Falls Fire and Rescue received a complaint of a fire in the 800 block of Juanita Avenue. When firefighters got there, they saw that the fire was on a deck outside the house.
Only the outside of the house was damaged since firefighters were able to put out the fire before it could have spread to other parts of the structure.
The incident resulted in no injuries.
