Two Iowa 1A basketball quarterfinals go to overtime

Both Martensdale-St. Marys and Montezuma took overtime to move on to the semifinals.

1A Quarterfinals
#4 Martensdale-St. Marys def. #5 Easton Valley 51-45.
Trey Baker led the Blue Devils with 19 points on just 11 shots while Carson Elbert added 19 on 7-14 shooting.
#7 Montezuma def. #2 Lake Mills 64-61.
Trey Shearer led Montezuma with 25 points, 20 of which came in the first half.
