UNI, ISU grapplers topple No. 18 Oklahoma

CEDAR FALLS – No. 19 UNI and 13th ranked Iowa State each took their turns taking down No. 18 Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon in the McLeod Center.
UNI, led by a huge showing from redshirt freshman Lance Runyon, raced past the Sooners 23-13. Runyon captured 11th ranked 174 pounder Anthony Mantanona in cradle, earning a first period fall to help seal things late.
In the earlier match, the Cyclones won six of ten bouts, including a 5-4 overtime win from heavyweight Gannon Gremmel, to pull out an 18-16 win over the Sooners.
