UNI ranked No. 3 in preseason poll, five Panthers named All-Americans

HERO Sports is a big fan of UNI’s chances in 2020. The outlet ranked the Panthers 3rd, behind North Dakota State and South Dakota State in their preseason 2020 poll. They also named five UNI players to their preseason all-american teams, including Elerson G. Smith to the 1st team. The Panthers reached the FCS Playoff Quarterfinals last year after an impressive defensive showing at SDSU in the Round of 16.
