Cedar Rapids resident faces multiple charges after shooting a man in November 2020 altercation
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – A Cedar Rapids resident was arrested and faces multiple charges after shooting a man in November 2020 altercation in Cedar Rapids.
Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. at 1027 9th Street SW to a call of a shooting. They found 34-year-old Tyler Koob near the scene with life-threatening gunshot wounds ad was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation showed that Koob knocked on the door of the house and two men stepped outside. Koob was unknown person for them and they saw a gun in his hand. Koob started screaming at them and the altercation began.
Tyler Koob now faces charges of assault-going armed with intent, carrying weapons, intimidation with a dangerous weapon and attempted murder.
