Man to spend over a year in prison after threatening to kill U.S. congressman
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Man from Waterloo is sentenced to over a year in prison for threatening to kill U.S. congressman.
The 57-year-old, Kenneth Brown pleaded guilty to one count of transmitting a threatening communication in interstate commerce on December 4, 2020.
Brown was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment in Cedar Rapids.
Until Brown can be transported to a federal prison, he will be held in the United States Marshal’s custody.
