Two separate shots fired incidents being investigated by Cedar Rapids Police
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Two separate shots fired incidents are being investigated by Cedar Rapids Police.
Police received multiple calls on July 8 about shots fired in the 2700 block of Bever Ave SE. Officers responded to the calls and interviewed witnesses who claimed that someone from a vehicle shot at another vehicle. Officers discovered 9MM shell casings at the scene.
No arrests were made regarding this case.
Couple of hours later, Cedar Rapids Police Department received a call of shots fired in the area of 9th St and 15th Ave SW. Officers found a gun in bushes near the scene. They also stopped and questioned two persons of interest.
No arrests were made regarding this case also.
