Suspect arrested after burglarizing two Cedar Rapids stores
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – This Little Piggy Ultrasound and Corridor Technology Professionals was burglarized on August 21, 2021, and Cedar Rapids Police officers were sent to 224 Northland Court NE to investigate.
Surveillance video of a suspect inside the shops was obtained by investigators.
The suspect took $7,000 worth of items from Corridor Technology Professionals and $3,100 worth of items from This Little Piggy Ultrasound.
Officers conducted search warrants and discovered stolen items as well as evidence that linked Hayes to the crime.
Hayes was identified as the suspect thanks to surveillance video from the company and information from the public submitted through Linn County Crime Stoppers.
