Des Moines man killed in hit-and-run accident
Des Moines, Iowa – One 32-year-old man has been killed in a hit-and-run accident in Des Moines, according to authorities.
According to a police press release, officers rushed to the 2400 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a hit-and-run crash and discovered William “Cody” Kline suffering from serious injuries to his head. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
An automobile believed to have struck Kline was discovered later Wednesday morning after police asked for the public’s assistance in locating it.
Anyone with information regarding the driver’s identity or the accident is asked to contact the Des Moines Police Department.
