Home completely destroyed after engulfing in flames
Fairfax, Iowa – Multiple agencies, including Cedar Rapids Fire, Linn County Deputies, Fairfax Fire, Swisher Fire, Norway Fire, Ely Fire, and Area Ambulance were sent to a structure fire at 10007 Wright Brothers Blvd. on February 12th at 12:04 a.m.
Firefighters were unable to enter the home because it was totally engulfed in flames. The only occupant of the residence had made it out safely. The home has been completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is unknown and has yet to be determined.
Wright Brother Blvd. was closed for many hours between HWY 151 and Saint Patrick’s Road as a result of the fire.
