Kernels hosts two-day job fair for variety of positions
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – The Cedar Rapids Kernels will hold a two-day job fair in order to hire about 250 part-time workers for the 2022 season.
The activities will take place at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Thursday, February 24th from 3-7pm and Saturday, February 26th from 8-11am.
Scott Wilson, the Cedar Rapids Kernels’ general manager, says, “I can’t imagine a better place to work at a summer time job, I mean being out here at the ballpark, it’s always exciting, its always fun, and every kind of job humanly possible.”
The Cedar Rapids Kernels are seeking to fill multiple positions, including ticket takers/sellers, concessions, and providing entertainment, such as inflatables.
The Kernels’ first home game in 2022 will be on Friday, April 8th at 6:35 p.m. against Beloit.
Single-game tickets will be available for purchase starting on Monday, March 14th.
