Cedar Rapids Police Asking For Help Identifying Witness in Assault

According to KCRG, Cedar Rapids police are asking for the public’s help identifying a witness in a serious assault.

The assault happened around 1:40 a.m. on Thursday, September 17 when a man was assaulted in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue SE. The report states that a “man sustained serious injuries”. There is no other information regarding the incident at this time, but there are photos.

Anyone with information regarding the assault or that can identify the witness is asked to call the Cedar Rapids Police Department at (319) 286-5457 or Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME (272-7463).
