Cedar Rapids residents invited to visit the Downtown Farmers Market

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Residents are invited to visit the Downtown Farmers Market.
Over the Labor Day weekend, shoppers looking for a fall fix will find lots of options at the Downtown Farmers Market.
The Labor Day weekend market in downtown Cedar Rapids is open Saturday morning from 7:30 a.m. to Noon.
“This holiday weekend is the perfect time to check out incoming fall items at the Downtown Farmers Market. The Iowa football game doesn’t start until 2:30 p.m., so everyone can swing by the market in the morning, grab some breakfast and shop our local vendors before taking in the big game or enjoying the long weekend,” said the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance Events Planner, Maddix Stovie.
The farmers market season has been extended till October this year. The following markets are on the horizon:
- September 18: Downtown Farmers Market presented by Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust and featuring Welcoming Week Wings
- September 25: Market After Dark presented by Alliant Energy
- October 2: Downtown Farmers Fall Market presented by Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust
