City of Marion to host Pop-Up Acts
Marion, Iowa – On a series of Friday evenings this summer, the City of Marion will host “Pop-Up Acts” in the Uptown Artway.
On July 30, August 6, 13, and 20, from 5-7 p.m., you can enjoy free live music from the Uptown Artway or a local business’s patio.
You can find the Uptown Artway between 7th and 8th Avenues and 10th and 11th street in Uptown Marion.
A variety of local acts will perform during the event series:
- On July 30– Barb Franciso, Acoustic Amazon
- On 6– Amber & Adam
- On 13– Terry McCauley
- On 20– Billyee Janey
Additional dates will appear on www.cityofmarion.org later this summer and fall.
