Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Caitlyn Ferin presents delicious appetizer recipes perfect for your upcoming holiday gathering in this Fareway Cooking Segment.

The holiday season is here, and I’ve got three incredibly simple appetizers to share! In fact, each of these contains fewer than five ingredients! When hosting or contributing a dish, consider these points.

Ham Balls are a crowd favorite, and they couldn’t be easier to make. Combine our renowned ham loaf with graham crackers and an egg to serve as a binder. Ham loaf combines ground ham and ground pork, delivering an ideal blend of sweet and salty flavors. Prepare by baking and then generously applying your preferred barbecue sauce. Remember to grab the toothpicks!

Cucumber cups. This is an appealing vegetarian choice. I cut a cucumber into slices and placed my hummus in a baggie, then snipped off the corner. Top each cucumber with a generous scoop of hummus, then finish with a sprinkle of paprika and a touch of parsley for garnish. For a party, it’s best to bring the hummus in a baggie and transfer it to a plate upon arrival.

A pesto oil dip is one of my personal favorites. We’re set to enhance classic dipping oil by incorporating some pesto, parmesan, and balsamic vinegar. Accompany with a fresh baguette.

This can be enjoyed on its own or paired nicely with a selection of meats and cheeses. To find the full recipes and additional information, visit fareway.com.
