Firework & Fireflies event to take place on September
Marion, Iowa – Marion city officials have announced that Firework & Fireflies will return in September. The event is scheduled at 6 p.m. at the Klopfenstein Amphitheater at Lowe Park, 4500 N. 10th Street, Marion on September 3rd.
Although the event is usually held in July, organizers agreed to schedule it in September in order to accommodate a larger crowd and help kick off the Labor Day weekend. Future fireworks displays are expected to take place in July.
Attendees need to bring chairs and blankets to sit on. Coolers are allowed. As the event date approaches, further information will be accessible at www.cityofmarion.org/fireworks.
