Housing complex construction set to begin in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Construction of a new mixed-income, multifamily housing complex that will add 224 new units of housing to the downtown area is about to begin after years of planning.
On Wednesday, December 15th, a groundbreaking ceremony involving city officials and developers will kick off construction in the 500 block of 4th Avenue SE.
The new $49 million development would take up a whole city block across from the Cedar Rapids Public Library.
