Iowa Wrestling resuming in-person activities, Northwestern dual postponed
IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa Athletics Department says the Iowa Wrestling program has returned to in-person activities.
This ends a seven-day program pause in response to positive COVID-19 tested results in the program.
Iowa says they will continue to follow Big Ten Conference medical protocols.
Their next dual against Northwestern scheduled for Friday, February 19, has been postponed. They say this is out of an abundance of caution surrounding the health and safety of participants.
A decision on the Hawkeyes’ dual scheduled at Wisconsin for Sunday, Feb. 21, will be made later this week.
