List of available heat relief locations updated by Linn County
Linn County, Iowa – As the hot weather continues this week, authorities of Linn County have updated their list of available heat relief site.
On Tuesday afternoon the highest temperature is expected to be about 90, but due to humidity, it will feel like 95 to 100.
A heat advisory is also in place for parts of central Iowa from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.
Officials are urging citizens to check on relatives, friends, and neighbors who may be affected as a result of this week’s heat.
