Murder charges dropped for 1 of 5 men accused in Fort Dodge slayings
FORT DODGE, Iowa — Murder charges have been dismissed for a Fort Dodge man accused in a June 2020 double homicide case.
Darrell Jones, 23, was facing two counts of second-degree murder after a deadly shooting that killed 25-year-old Jamael Cox and 47-year-old Tyrone Cunningham.
However, the Messenger reports Jones is now facing new charges including intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
His new arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
